Built and designed in house at 1651 Glendale Avenue in Sparks, Nevada by the same team that builds the world's fastest skiving and roller burnishing machine.
Sierra Machinery designs and manufactures its own patented skiving and roller burnishing tooling. Over 200 tooling sizes are available, ranging from 35mm (1.38") to 508mm (20"), covering the full range of hydraulic cylinder bore finishing requirements. Every size is built in house, tested at our facility, and shipped directly to customers under Sierra Machinery contracts.
The tooling is designed with one objective: deliver precise, consistent bore finishing in a single pass with no compromise on surface quality. Every tooling order goes through our full Quality Management System before it ships. Dimensional verification runs through our on-site CMM Lab — the same lab that supports our Sierra USA® machine production line. Nothing leaves 1651 Glendale Avenue without meeting spec.
